A Gaelic Primer

Learning a language doesn’t have to be difficult. The popular Dick and Jane series made basic reading fun to approach. Well, we’ve taken that basic idea and taken it to a traditional Gaelic place … which is to say, weird.

Domhnall - an mac

Our protagonist is a young lad from the Highlands with his dog, Sceolaing. Being a happy chappy and full of his own promise, he does not quite realize the oddities in store.

A Different Heroic Tale

Celtic tales are rife with bizarre, heroic moments, and Domhnall will need to use all his cleverness, bravery and speed to manage the weirdness in store. While Dick and Jane played with their dog in the suburbs of the U.S., Domhnall, Sceolaing and their pals explore the dark corners of the Otherworld.

Seeing, Hearing, Learning …

When people think of learning a language they think in terms of a cipher, learning how to translate from one language to another, but real learning happens when you know what something is without worrying about what other words mean that same thing. Seo Domhnall subverts this by telling and showing a story in simple terms so that verbal recognition can happen without having to switch languages.
