Soccs & Buskin is a troupe of musicians based in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada with a driving passion for history, folklore, music, but above all a rollicking good time. Associated with the Washington Shakespearean Festival, they bring decades of experience and expertise to every performance, especially when it comes to the magic peculiar to live, often improvised events.

From pirate fests to regattas and everything in between, S&B has a full repertoire of sea shanties, nautical ballads and tales of the high seas to inspire any lubber or foc’s’l jack. With strong sea legs and full knowledge of the ropes — just ask about our time on tall ships! — we bring authenticity and entertainment in equal measure.

ADVENTURER SCIENTIST
Hexfellow’s interest in the practical application of harmonic resonance has expanded after years sailing tall ships across the Atlantic. This not only helps with music but also bears practical application with certain apparatus of his own design.
